Our concept of ‘natural’ products is the use of raw, whole herbs
(and not their chemically processed extracts)
Our custom in-house formulations use strategic herb combinations to ensure the products are high performing yet gentle. These herb formulations draw heavily on plant chemistry and the ethos of Ayurveda
Our Ingredients
Reetha Fruit
Contains a natural surfactant, Saponin, which creates foam to clean dirt, dust and oil. It enhances shine of the hair and reduces dryness, making the hair look silky and voluminous.
Marshmallow Root:
The high quantity of natural mucilage in marshmallow root helps nourish and detangle, condition dry scalp and hair, prevent breakage, restore heat-damaged locks, and prevent irritation.
Lemon Peel:
The acidic, astringent lemon peels exfoliate the scalp and unclog hair follicles that causes dandruff and hair fall. Rich in Vitamin C, it boost the collagen production leading to improved hair growth.
Neem Leaves:
Dried leaves of the Azadirachta Indica, known widely for anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. Neem oil contains the active ingredient nimbidin which is an anti-inflammatory.
Flax Seed:
Flax seeds, rich in protein, omega-3 fatty acids, provide moisturizing properties. They are high in lignans, which have high antioxidant qualities and keep hair dense and shiny, maximizing volume and elasticity.
Arappu Leaves:
Known by different names, Arappu (Tamil)/ Chigare Pudi (Kannada)/ Chiguraakku (Telugu), is powdered dried leaves of the drought-resistant Albizia amara tree. It works as a conditioner in the cleanser.
Rosemary:
Rosemary leaves are rich in antioxidants and improve blood circulation, playing an important role in neutralizing those harmful particles that can lead to hair loss by damaging the hair follicle.
Black Seed:
Also called Nigella Sativa contains 100+ nutrients that provide nourishment for hair. Black seeds help nurse follicles back to health and restore hair growth in thinning areas.
Hibiscus Flower:
Dried hibiscus flower contains mucilage which provides deep conditioning. This property helps prevent split ends and restores softness and shine.
Amla Fruit:
We use the dried fruit of the Phyllanthus Emblica tree. It is widely used in haircare but is known primarily for strengthening hair follicles and restoring natural oils.
Shikakai:
The Acacia concinna tree pods, leaves, and bark are rich sources of vitamin A & C. The pods have natural surfactants that cleanse the scalp and remove greasiness from the hair.
Fenugreek Seeds:
Fenugreek contains active phytochemicals, specifically flavonoids and saponins, that have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects which are effective in hydrating the hair and strengthening its roots.
Our products are AYUSH certified and we are able to maintain high quality of herbs and processing with the help of our trusted supplier and manufacturing partners
Our Processing
Whole Herbs
First, we pick out the best and freshest herbs from our trusted suppliers and prepare them to be used in our formulations. What's better: we use the herb itself; not its chemical extract.
Infusions
Next up: we prepare the key actives by infusing the herbs in water or oils to maximize efficacy. All processing is under controlled temperatures so we don't lose any of the raw power of Nature's goodness!
Grinding, Sieving, Mashing
Our custom in-house formulations use the traditional Indian methods to extract juices from the infused herbs without any chemical treatment or processing.
Additives
Finally, we add minimal, safe and vegetarian additives like food grade preservatives, food gums and Glycerine (in our water-based products only); This is to keep the product fresh enough to use for atleast a year.
