YOUR KITCHEN IS A POWERHOUSE OF FRIZZ FIGHTING REMEDIES

Like, seriously! You probably have most of these natural ingredients at home but you never really knew they were good at this too.

1. Aloe Vera:  One of the most common plants found in almost every Indian household. Apart from its ultra-soothing properties for the skin & scalp, Aloe Vera works really well at hair hydration to calm down the frizz.

How to use: Apply fresh aloe vera gel directly to your hair, especially frizzy spots. Leave for 20-30 mins, then rinse well with a gentle cleanser.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar:  Another kitchen essential that’s trending these days for the various kinds of health benefits it provides. So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Apple Cider Vinegar is really helpful at balancing your scalp’s pH level while also removing product build-up to smoothen your hair cuticles.

How to use: Dilute 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar in 1 cup water. Use it as a final rinse after shampooing – no need to rinse it out. Use once a week.

3. Fenugreek (Methi) Seed Paste:  Being an inseparable part of the Indian cuisine because of its digestive benefits, Fenugreek has evolved into an even more essential herb for the hair. Because of its gel-producing ability, Fenugreek provides incredible slip and deep conditioning to the hair, making frizzy hair smooth and manageable.

How to use: Soak 2-3 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds overnight. In the morning, grind them into a smooth, slimy paste with a little water. How to use: Grind a handful of fresh curry leaves with about 1/4 cup of fresh coconut milk to form a fine paste. Apply this mixture to your hair, from root to tip. Leave for 20-30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and shampoo. You now have healthy, frizz-free hair!

5. Banana & Honey Mask:  Ripe bananas are rich in potassium, natural oils, carbohydrates, and vitamins, all of which are deep nourishing agents that work well for dry, frizzy hair. Honey is another natural humectant that keeps the moisture locked in.

How to use: Mash one ripe banana thoroughly until it's completely lump-free. Mix in 1-2 tablespoons of pure honey. Apply this smooth paste to your hair, concentrating on the frizzy areas. Leave on for 20-30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and shampoo.

6. Avocado:  Avocados and their delicious, creamy texture go beyond just being a healthy breakfast. This amazing fruit is full of vitamins and fatty acids that can give you super moisturized hair.

How to use: Mash a ripe avocado with 2 tbsp olive oil or coconut milk. Apply this mask, leave for 30 mins, then rinse and shampoo.
