Roz Roz Rosemary

Our times are seeing unprecedented hairfall and no one seems to know why.

It’s everything from our genetics to the environment to our lifestyle; the highly processed food we eat that mess with our hormones to the harsh products we use. AND in addition to it all this heat, smoke and pollution as well as the heat and pollution WE add to our hair to make it look super stylish.

So we got to compensate for it right? Luckily, science and nature’s got our back!

One such scientifically proven natural solution for hairgrowth is ROSEMARY.
It’s a shrub that is native to the Mediterranean region and was originally used in the fragrance industry in the 14th century. It then became popular amongst herbalists in medicine and then in culinary use as food flavouring.

In the past couple of decades the research on phytochemistry of rosemary has led it to becoming a winner for haircare and scalp health. In the past year or so, you must have seen a hundred Instagram posts talking about the benefits of rosemary for hair and with good reason!

Rosemary Has:

  • Anti-inflammatory properties: that prevent damage to hair follicles
  • Enables Blood circulation: which helps delivery oxygen and nutrients to the follicle
  • Anti-oxidant properties: that prevent oxidative stress via free radicals

In the Spanish fairy tale ‘The Sprig of Rosemary’, the heroine touches the hero with the titular sprig of rosemary in order to restore his magically lost memory. We are surely counting on the same sprig to restore our lost hair!
